About SSCF

Comprehensive Cancer Care & Academic Excellence

Sri Shankara Cancer Foundation (SSCF) is a not-for-profit organization, registered under Section 12A. Sri Shankara Cancer Foundation was conceived in 2008, by a group of forward-thinking individuals, under the visionary leadership of Managing Trustee, Dr. B.S. Srinath, a seasoned professional with 50 years of experience in surgical oncology.

SSCF was established to provide inclusive cancer treatment to each and every patient, with a specific emphasis on providing the best cancer treatment regardless of their socio-economic background. Sri Shankara Cancer Foundation is committed to alleviating the physical, emotional, and financial burdens faced by cancer patients and their families, while also addressing the broader societal impact of this disease.

Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Bangalore & Bagchi Sri Shankara Cancer Centre and Research Institute, Bhubaneswar are the epicenters of comprehensive and transformative oncology. It is the nucleus where cutting-edge technology and compassionate expertise come together to deliver the best cancer treatment and care. Our mission extends to the implementation of effective cancer prevention strategies and spearheading cutting-edge research in oncology through our daughter institutions - Sri Shankara National Centre for Cancer Prevention & Research and the training of healthcare personnel for optimal patient care through our association with National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (for DNB, DrNB and FNB Programmes) and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (Super specialty Fellowship Programmes), Sri Shankara College of Nursing and Sri Shankara Institute of Allied Health Sciences.
