Dr Divya Vishwanatha Kini

Dr. Divya Vishwanatha Kini is a Consultant Radiologist at Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Bengaluru, with a specialised focus on breast and women’s imaging. She completed her MBBS from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, followed by an MD in Radiodiagnosis and Senior Residency at JSS Medical College, Mysuru, where she gained comprehensive training across all major radiological modalities.

Pursuing her interest in women’s health, she earned her DNB and completed a Fellowship in Breast Imaging and Interventions (FNB) at KMCH, Coimbatore. Her expertise includes digital mammography, tomosynthesis, CEM, breast MRI, ultrasound, and image-guided procedures such as biopsies, FNACs, and localisation techniques.

She also has a growing interest in gynaecological imaging, particularly pelvic ultrasound and MRI. She is actively involved in academic research and regularly presents at national radiology conferences. Known for her detail-oriented, empathetic approach, she values collaborative care and patient education. Her vision is to promote early, precise diagnosis and to help build accessible, patient-centred imaging services tailored for women.
